such as the Student Council, the Debate Club, the Robotics Club, the Chess Club, the Music Club,

Students can work on their own research projects or join the research teams
of the faculty members. They can also use the facilities and laboratories of the university or
its partners, such as the Innovations and Industry Cooperation Center, the Vision Center,
the SAP next gen lab, the Oracle Academy, the Microsoft Imagine Academy, the Cisco Academy,
the Akfa class, the PSB lab, and the Artel R&D lab.
1. Information Resource Center: This is a library that provides access to books, journals,
magazines, reports, and online databases related to information and communication
technologies. It also has computers, printers, scanners, and photocopying services
for students and staff.
2. PC labs: There are three main PC labs that have 150 computers in total. The PC labs are used
for learning and practicing programming, web development, database management,
and other IT skills.
3. Physics Lab: This is a laboratory that has modern equipment for conducting experiments
and demonstrations in classical mechanics and thermal/statistical physics.
4. Data Center: This is a facility that manages the university’s data and information services,
such as network, security, storage, backup, and recovery.
Innovations and Industry Cooperation Center: This is a center that supports research
and innovation, professional skills development, technology transfer, and startup incubation.
It has established IUTLab, where students can work on web and mobile development projects
and provide IT services to customers.
5. Vision Center: This is a center that focuses on computer vision and artificial intelligence
research and applications. It has a smart class that uses facial recognition and emotion analysis
to monitor and improve the learning process.
6. SAP next gen lab: This is a laboratory that collaborates with SAP, a global software company,
to provide students with access to SAP software and solutions, such as enterprise
resource planning, business intelligence, and cloud computing.
7. Oracle Academy: This is a laboratory that cooperates with Oracle, a global database
and software company, to provide students with access to Oracle software and curriculum,
such as SQL, Java, and Python.
8. Microsoft Imagine Academy: This is a laboratory that partners with Microsoft,
a global technology company, to provide students with access to Microsoft software and courses,
such as Windows, Office, Azure, and Visual Studio.
9. Cisco Academy: This is a laboratory that works with Cisco, a global networking
and telecommunications company, to provide students with access to Cisco equipment and
training, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
10. Akfa class: This is a laboratory that is sponsored by Akfa, a local company that produces
medical equipment and software. It provides students with access to Akfa products and
technologies, such as digital X-ray, ultrasound, and MRI machines.
11. PSB: This is a laboratory that is supported by PSB, a local company that develops banking
and payment software. It provides students with access to PSB products and solutions,
such as online banking, mobile banking, and e-commerce platforms.
12. Artel R&D: This is a laboratory that is funded by Artel, a local company that manufactures
household appliances and electronics. It provides students with access to Artel products
and innovations, such as smart TVs, refrigerators, and air conditioners.
- Nuriddin Iminohunov, who graduated from IUT in 2019, created the Google Developer Group
Tashkent community, which organizes events and workshops for developers and enthusiasts
of Google technologies2. - Khozhiakbar Kamalov, who graduated from IUT in 2020, received t
he highest score among the MBA students in the Digital Transformation program
at INHA University (South Korea) and was awarded a special gift by the president of the university3.
- Sarvar Irgashev, who graduated from IUT in 2020, received a full scholarship to pursue
a master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign,
one of the top-ranked universities in the world4.
- Sevil Atayeva, who graduated from IUT in 2020, became the first female software engineer
at Facebook in Uzbekistan, where she works on developing and improving the social media
platform. Student of Inha University in Tashkent in many local and global IT enterprises
as SWE and PM’s as well as at governmental IT organizations.

Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) is a branch of the Korean Inha University that offers
undergraduate programs in computer and information engineering, and logistics and business
administration. The university was established in 2014 as a result of cooperation between
the governments of Uzbekistan and South Korea, with the goal of developing IT leaders
and professionals. The university has a modern campus with various facilities and laboratories,
such as the Information Resource Center, the PC labs, the Physics Lab, the Data Center,
the Innovations and Industry Cooperation Center, the Vision Center, the SAP next gen lab, the
Oracle Academy, the Microsoft Imagine Academy, the Cisco Academy, the Akfa class, the PSB lab,
and the Artel R&D lab. The university also provides students with opportunities for exchange,
internship, research, innovation, and participation in various events and competitions.
The university has more than 700 students and a number of successful alumni who work in local
or international companies and organizations.
